Amanda was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa where she attended West High School. Growing up she was active in martial arts where it could be seen that she had a competitive nature. She studied Kuk Sool Won for nine years, achieved her black belt, and actively instructed the younger student classes. She competed regularly at tournaments and earned many trophies and medals throughout the years. After High School, Amanda studied briefly at Scott Community College for certifications as a nurse aid and medication manager. She showed her care for other people by working for many years in long term care and assisted living facilities, exemplifying yet another wonderful characteristic.
Amanda started her career at Royal Publishing on August 5, 2013, accepting a job as a sales representative at the Moline Branch. During her five years as a sales representative, she once again embraced her competitive spirit which helped her to flourish, earning the Rising Star Award in May 2014, Salesperson of the Month in June 2016, and Salesperson of the Month again in June 2017.
She was promoted to Moline Branch Manager on January 3, 2018 and since then has broken numerous sales records in her office. For the year 2021, Amanda earned her first annual sales manager awards by having the highest increase in sales from the previous year, and also the highest percentage of increase from the previous year. Then again for the year 2022 she won the highest percentage of increase from the previous year, proving to our entire company that she has what it takes to get her team motivated.
Amanda is also the proud mother of three wonderful children, Alexia (born in 2000), Xander (born in 2004), and Ava (born in 2010). They keep her busy, bring her joy, and give her purpose outside of work. She is proud to say that at Royal Publishing she has not only found a career, but a second family. Come join Amanda’s highly competitive team!
